Peace of Mind Course

Service Description

This is a 2-hour non-regulated course, consisting of both practical and theoretical learning. As parents ourselves we understand the importance of having a basic knowledge of baby and child first aid, this give new parents, grandparents, family members, friends and carers alike the peace of mind to be able to deal with a variety of first aid situations. We aim to teach in a calm, relaxed and friendly manner in the comfort of your own home or for larger groups we can work with you to find a suitable venue. Of course, babies are always welcome on these courses. Course content includes: - Initial assessment - Recovery position - Resuscitation - Choking - Seizures - Meningitis - Febrile convulsions / allergic reactions Assessment & certification: There is no formal assessment or certification, however we will ensure you are competent in providing basic first aid to babies. Numbers: There are no maximum numbers for course, and we can teach people from the age of 12 upwards. *We have both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance and both hold enhanced DBS certificates.
